The Kids Wanna Know...
"Where are our presents????"
"We have been EVER so good!"
"See, I've been grooming the carpet for you!"
"You can't hide them from us!"
"Perhaps they are kept in the kitchen?"
Hugo investigates.
"Oooh! Empty boxes! Evidence of our presents!"
"Hmm, now where could they be?....I don't see any under here!"
"And I don't see them up here..."
"Hey Hugo! I think I found them!"
"Nope. Guess we'll have to wait for Christmas... Harrumph."

All I'm getting for Xmas...
Are these two lumps of coal. One gray, One white.
However, the gray lump is of the extra fancy variety.

Is it 2008 yet?
Holidays are coming, and I thought I'd let people know about my local house rabbit networks' 2008 calendar. It'd make a great gift for rabbit lovers!

The Biggest Red Sox Fan
Last night as we all watched the Sox go up 3-0 in the World Series, I snapped this cute pic of Mabel while she was supporting the team.
"Let's go Red Sox!" (Munch, munch)... "Bring home the 2nd Trophy in 3 years!" (Chomp chomp...)

The Contest Results...
It looks like EVERYBUN WON! Apparently all of my buns are equally enjoyed by all you bloggers. I guess I'll have to give the public what it wants!
Miss Mabel, chilling next to her cage.
Bungee takes a nap.
"I'm awake now; Gimme that carrot!!!"
Hugo says, "What's going on up there?"

Time to celebrate Hugo's 2nd Gotcha Day!
I can hardly believe my life has been graced with such an amusing, lovable presence for only the past two short years. I must take some time to thank Hugo for all that he has given us since September, 2005.
We Love Hugh!!!

We are all still here!
Hello internet friends who can't get enough bunnage:
The Kids are BACK!
Mrs. Mabel:
Note the little pink tongue :)
The Huginator climing on Daddy:
"Ahh...a little to the left."
Bungee says: "While I was gone, I gave Hugo a run for his money to be the biggest Cucumber Monster Messy-Mouth!"

My trip to San Diego
Hello all,
This post doesn't have much to do with bunnies, but if you like to look at different animals in captivity this may be for you.
Last week my boyfriend and I flew to sunny San Diego, CA, to follow the Red Sox in their series with the Padres. In addition to checking out the stadium, Petco Park, we went to the San Diego Zoo, The Wild Animal Park, and SeaWorld.
Hope you enjoy a sampling of my pix!
This pic was from the Lagoon at the Wild Animal Park, and I was sitting a mere couple of feet away from all of this activity. Love the turtles sunning themselves, watching the duck and coi enjoying the man-made river.
The meerkats were one of my favorites. I wanted to take one home so bad!
Here is a cute pic of a lazy bear :)
Here is a condor (if I remember correctly). Can anyone spot the second animal in the picture?
Here it is, the rat. (Already dead, as far as I could tell). The boyfriend shot a video of the bird of prey eating it. Don't worry, I won't show that here.
This was fun, we got to feed the dolphins. It's a real great scam - every few hours, on the dolphin's feeding schedule, Seaworld gets the park's visitors to purchase the sardines (5 bucks for 4 fish!) to feed the animals. Its a win-win situation for them:)
I'll end this with a nice smile from Mr. Bottlenose. I may post more pics later!

My boyfriend's favorite siting: a Shoe-billed Stork. We also got to see this dude being handfed by one of the caretakers. I guess they "forget" how to hunt for fish on their own??
